The Roof of Africa,
one careful step at a time.
5,895 metres. Six routes. One of Africa's greatest achievements - done properly, with the guiding, acclimatisation and porter welfare it deserves.
Africa's highest mountain
Rising 5,895 metres above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain and the world's tallest free-standing mountain. Its snow-capped summit, Uhuru Peak, attracts climbers from around the globe, while its lower slopes support lush rainforests teeming with wildlife. The mountain features five distinct ecological zones, ranging from cultivated farmland to alpine desert and arctic summit conditions. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kilimanjaro offers several trekking routes suitable for varying levels of experience and is one of Tanzania's most celebrated natural landmarks.
